Choosing the glasses that are right for your style and lifestyle. Weather
your a fashioin diva looking for the latest in designer style frames or a
biker chic trying to keep the wind out of your eyes, we want you to find the
sunglasses to fit your style and protect your eyes from harmful UV
rays.
Step 1
Pick out a pair of sunglasses with adequate UV
protection. Sunglasses should block 99 to 100
percent of UVA and UVB radiation. We have taken
care of this for our shoppers. At
Fullspectrumeyewear, all of our glasses provide
100% UV protection. We don't stock or sell any
sunglasses or goggles that don't provide 100% UV
protection.
Step2
Consider the type of lens. The three most common
lens types are polycarbonate (lightweight
plastic), CR-39 (prescription-grade plastic) and
glass. Glass is much heavier than either of the
plastics. At Fullspectrumeyewear, all of our
padded and rider sunglasses are polycarbonate.
It provides more protection to the eye while our
in the elements. Most of our other sunglasses
have a light weight plastic lens or glass where
indicated.
Step3
Pick a color of lens that will absorb light.
Gray reduces brightness without distorting
color, while brown and amber reduce glare but
tend to alter color. Yellow is a good color to
reduce haze and glare, but it causes mold color
distortion. Green lenses reduce glare and
provide good contrast, while rose-colored lenses
work best for water sports.
Step4
Choose a polarized lens to reduce the glare of
light reflected on water or the light you face
while driving. We carry a wide selection of
polarized glasses. We indicate on the individual
product page is a style is polarized.
Step5
Look for a frame that feels sturdy when you pick
it up. Open and close the earpieces several
times to see if they have smooth action. Frames
are made of a variety of materials, including
plastic, aluminum, titanium and base metals. We
carry only high quality frames. When we come
across a style that we feel won't hold up to
normal wear and tear, or when we receive a large
number of returns we discontinue the style. You
can feel confident that the sunglasses you order
from Fullspectrum will be of the best quality.
Step6
Get a good fit on sunglasses for your child.
Toy sunglasses don't have the protection
children need when playing outside. Choose a
pair of sunglasses that are sturdy and that
provide adequate UV protection for kids. All of
our sunglasses provide 100 % UV protection.
Step7
Pick a color of frame that complements your skin
tone. Since the sunglasses will be worn with
various outfits throughout the spring, it is
easier to match your skin and hair than your
wardrobe
